Our Resources
-
Southwest Resources has access to 95,000,000 tons of metallurgical and thermal coal. We can custom blend it to meet your specifications to suit your individual needs; be it thermal grade or high quality metallurgic coal suitable for steel production. We look forward discussing your goals and future orders.
-
Natural gas, primarily composed of methane, is found in underground rock formations and associated with oil deposits. It is extracted through drilling and hydraulic fracturing and is used for electricity generation, heating, industrial processes, and as a transportation fuel. Natural gas burns cleaner than coal and oil, but responsible management is crucial to minimize methane leaks and environmental impact.
Sitting on 6,000 acres of operational gas wells, we are on target to manage 1,200 gas producing wells. This puts us in a unique position to provide your companies needs.

Our mission at Southwest Resources is to produce and provide construction aggregates primarily of sand within our distribution network which will serve our nation’s growing infrastructure needs, while always providing consistently competitive prices. We offer three types of sand:
White Sand:
White sand is made of tiny grains of minerals or shells that have been broken down by erosion and weathering over time. The origin of white sand varies depending upon the location and type of sand.
Generally speaking, white sand is formed by the accumulation of coral, shell fragments, and other mineral deposits. Alternatively, white sand can be formed through the erosion of white-colored rocks, such as limestone or quartz.
Fracking Sand
Frac sand is a type of sand with small, uniform particles which can be injected into the rock formation along with the water used to fracture the rock in the process known as hydraulic fracturing ("fracking"). The sand is used to prop open the fractures that are created. Because the particles are uniform, fluids like water, oil, and gas are able to flow through the spaces between the particles.
Construction Sand
Construction sand is used for construction and landscaping. It is medium to coarse gradation and is screened. Construction sand typically has larger particles which is more suitable for improving drainage and adding strength to concrete.
-
Rare earth minerals are a group of 17 elements essential for modern technologies, including electronics, renewable energy systems, and advanced defense systems. These minerals are vital for the production of smartphones, electric vehicles, wind turbines, and more. The extraction and processing of rare earth minerals can be environmentally challenging, making sustainable practices and recycling efforts critical for maintaining supply and reducing ecological footprints.
-
Our future mineral recovery system includes isolating minerals and critical metals from various types of overburden and carbon to make each product viable as a stand alone value added mineral.
We believe that our beneficiation process will be the key to critical mineral separation and environmentally safe extraction. Our proprietary process may allow up to 90% utilization of the minerals throughout various types of feedstock for multiple applications and virtually 100% closed loop water capture with a re-circulation process that has tremendous economic and environmental benefits.
